    Transcript Instructions

    Items on your checklist marked as “awaiting” are required to complete your application. Your application will not be reviewed for admission until these items are received.

    • Students who are applying while still in high school can upload their high school transcript to their Portal.
    • Students who are applying after high school or GED completion are required to submit official transcripts. To be official, the transcripts must be sent to UWM directly from your schools. Your schools can use an electronic transcript service or email (undergraduateadmissions@uwm.edu). If the school mails them, keep in mind that it will take longer to arrive and be marked as received on your checklist.

    Items on your checklist marked as “received” have been added to your application file. Once all items on your checklist are marked “received,” your application will move to review. You’ll be notified via email when an admission decision is available to view in your Admissions Portal.
