2024 MKE Scholars Confirmation Form

Please complete the fields below to confirm your participation in the MKE Scholars Program. This confirmation includes:

Attending one of the following week-long MKE Scholars Summer Experiences:
- Monday June 24th- Thursday June 27th OR Monday August 12th-Thursday August 15th
Transitioning into the regular academic year and adhering to program requirements
Scheduling and attending New Student Orientation (please make sure that you do not schedule your New Student Orientation date during the week you are attending the MKE Scholars Summer Experience).

Completing this confirmation form, secures your spot in the cohort of 50 students. This is a first come, first serve completion process. Those that complete this form after the first 50 spots are filled will be placed on a waitlist and notified accordingly as seats open up.

Academic year requirements include:

Enrolling in the cohort class for Fall 2024 which starts your progression towards the completion of the Cultures & Communities certificate
Attending bi-weekly 1:1 meetings with assigned MKE Scholars Success Coach
Participating in at minimum one (1) leadership, professional, and/or service development experience in the Fall & Spring semesters through year two (2)

By adhering to the requirements, you will receive the following:

A renewable scholarship of $1000 every year for up to four (4) years that you are enrolled at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee
Access to unique university opportunities and resources
1:1 support with your assigned Student Success Coach

NOTE: We will honor confirmations on a first-come, first-served basis. There is a cap of 25 scholars per week. If you are not confirmed for your selected time, we will connect with you directly to help you plan for the alternative date.
