    Meet UW-Milwaukee: Deaf, Hard of Hearing & ASL Day

    This day is designed specifically for prospective students who are D/deaf, deaf-blind, or hard of hearing and/or hearing students interested in ASL and considering a career working in the Deaf community. We welcome high school students and their families to visit UW-Milwaukee and learn more about the academic process, available resources and support through the Accessibility Resource Center, and next steps for transitioning to college.
     

    Breakout sessions will provide the following: 
    • Accommodations services available to students with a range of disabilities 
    • Information about majors that specialize serving the Deaf/Deafblind/Hard of Hearing populations



    This form is intended for individual student signs ups. If you are a school or community group, please register students 1 by 1. 
    If you are a group you may also register on site day of, please contact Nicole Stelzner (nicolems@uwm.edu) in advance to share your anticipated guest count and needed accommodations for the event.
