2024 Cohort 9 MKE Scholars Program Application Form

We would like to extend the opportunity to join the 2024 Cohort of the MKE Scholars Program. You will have the option to either accept or decline involvement after reading. In order to receive these benefits and maintain membership in the program, please review the program application PDF which can be found on our website: https://uwm.edu/studentsuccess/mke-scholars/ before submitting this online form.

We will be accepting up to 50 students into Cohort 9.

This form closes May 1, 2024.

As a member of the MKE Scholars Program, the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM), we are pleased to provide you with the following special benefits:

A renewable $500 scholarship toward UWM tuition and fees for up to four years, covering fall & spring semesters ONLY
Progression towards the completion Cultures and Communities Certificate, a distinguishing accomplishment to complement your undergraduate degree https://uwm.edu/cultures-communities/
A week-long summer experience that includes enrichment focused on first-year transition essentials, instructional support basics, leadership development, and service development. This offered at no-cost to participants. (Students must attend the summer program to qualify for the Academic Year Scholarship)
Added support through academic advising and peer mentorship for advanced development opportunities within the UWM community
Social and educational programs to build a strong peer community
