New Student Orientation South Campus Tours

SOUTH CAMPUS RESIDENCE HALLS

During this 40-minute tour, guests will be introduced to both RiverView and Cambridge Commons, two of UWM University Housing's 4 on-campus, residential facilities and home to a mix of first-year and continuing students. A 475-resident property built in 2008, RiverView is seated on the west bank of the Milwaukee River, providing river access and a tranquil setting. Cambridge Commons, a 700-resident building erected in 2010, is seated on the east bank of the Milwaukee River and provides stunning views, river access, and a metropolitan vibe. Guests will have the opportunity to get a feel for not only what RiverView and Cambridge Commons provide its residents, but also what the surrounding community offers. Areas that will be shown during the tour include standard (RiverView) and double-upgrade (Cambridge) suites, community kitchens, study and lounge spaces, residential cafe, security/service desks, UWM's own convenience store, and more.

All South Campus tours begin at RiverView. Street parking (only) across North Avenue, on N Commerce Street. Meet your Outreach Assistant inside the glass vestibule, just inside the main doors.
